The U17-3 remains our most popular all-rounder. Choose the K008-3 when access is the limiting factor, step up to the U25-3 when more depth and productivity are useful or ask about the ViO55-6B for larger work where the site can accommodate it.
Attachments vary by machine
Included attachments come with the daily hire rate at no extra attachment hire charge. The K008-3 includes three buckets and a sleeper grab. The U17-3 and U25-3 include three buckets, ripper, auger package, hydraulic rock grabber and sleeper grab. ViO55-6B attachment requirements are confirmed with Rick for the job.

Tweed Heads collection by appointment
Tweed Heads is Digger2Hire’s genuine Northern Rivers and Tweed collection base. It is not a staffed walk-in depot. Collection must be arranged and approved before handover.
Collection suitability depends on the confirmed machine and trailer, tow vehicle and towing capacity, electric brake controller where required, driver licence and agreed transport arrangement.
Collection and return times are agreed directly with Rick. There is no fixed standard depot closing time and where practical, after-hours arrangements can be made.

Delivery around Tweed Heads and Tweed
Delivery and collection are available for $150 within approximately 20 km where applicable. Longer distances are quoted individually. For delivered hires, Digger2Hire normally retains the plant trailer unless otherwise agreed beforehand.
The practical local service area includes Tweed Heads, Tweed Heads South and nearby Tweed locations such as Banora Point and Kingscliff where the delivery arrangement is suitable. Tweed Coast and longer Northern Rivers trips are quoted according to distance and the confirmed machine.
Tight access or a larger excavation?
Machine width can matter as much as digging capability. The K008-3 retracts to approximately 700 mm for specialist narrow access. The U17-3 retracts to approximately 990 mm and suits many residential jobs. The larger U25-3 and ViO55-6B need more access and working room.
Measure the complete route to the work area, including gates, turns, eaves, walls, slopes and soft ground. If you are unsure, send Rick measurements and photos before the hire is confirmed.

Do you offer dry hire or wet hire?
Digger2Hire provides dry hire. You operate the machine yourself and we go through the controls and practical handover information before release.
Which machine should I start with?
The U17-3 is the most popular all-rounder. If access is extremely tight, ask about the K008-3. If the job needs more capability and the site has room, the U25-3 or ViO55-6B may be more practical.
Can I collect from Tweed Heads?
Approved customer collection is available by appointment after Rick confirms the machine, trailer and towing requirements.
Do I have to return the excavator before a standard depot closing time?
No. Your collection and return times are agreed directly with Rick. Where practical, after-hours arrangements can be made. If the agreed timing needs to change, contact Rick before the agreed return time.
How much is local delivery?
Delivery and collection are $150 within approximately 20 km where applicable. Longer distances are quoted individually.
