5. Payment information
Payment is generally made by cash or bank transfer at handover. Digger2Hire may retain records necessary to document the payment and hire transaction.
We do not require customers to provide online payment-card details through this website.
6. Website analytics and measurement
Digger2Hire uses website measurement tools including Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
These services may collect technical and usage information such as your device or browser type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from technical information, referring source and interactions with the website.
We also measure interactions with Digger2Hire’s Call and SMS links. For example, when a visitor selects a Call or SMS button, we may record an analytics event containing information such as the page on which the interaction occurred and the Digger2Hire service location associated with that contact.

Click-event measurement does not mean that Digger2Hire records the content of your telephone call or SMS through Google Analytics.

Where a customer or another individual is identifiable in marketing content, Digger2Hire will seek permission before intentionally publishing that person’s image. Agreeing to marketing photography or video is optional and is not a condition of hiring equipment.
Where practical, Digger2Hire will avoid unnecessarily publishing personal information such as vehicle registration numbers, house numbers, identification documents or other information that identifies a customer or property.
Content published online may be publicly accessible and may be copied, shared, stored or retained by social media platforms, other websites or other users beyond Digger2Hire’s control.

Customer and hire information may be held on Digger2Hire-controlled phones or tablets and, where applicable, in physical records such as signed hire documentation.
This may include customer contact details, identification and vehicle information, signed hire records and photographs taken for handover, condition, delivery or return purposes.
We take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the information to protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Access is limited to people who reasonably require the information to operate Digger2Hire.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Disclosure of personal information
Digger2Hire does not routinely provide customer hire records to third-party customer-management or hire-management systems.
We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to insurers, professional advisers, law enforcement, recovery providers or other parties in connection with an insurance claim, accident, damage, theft, suspected unlawful activity, debt or recovery of Digger2Hire equipment. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.

We do not sell customer personal information or customer lists.
