The Kubota U17-3 is a practical 1.7 tonne excavator for trenching, drainage, landscaping, retaining-wall preparation, post holes, site preparation and other suitable compact excavation work.

Attachments included. No extra hire charges.
U17-3 hire is $250 per day, including the confirmed attachment package. There are no separate daily hire charges for the included attachments: three buckets, a ripper, an Auger Torque X2000 drive unit with 300 mm and 450 mm augers and a hydraulic rock grabber where suitable for the confirmed hire.

Direct contact, including after hours
Digger2Hire is owner-operated. Brisbane customers deal directly with Frank, while Northern Rivers and Tweed customers deal directly with Rick. After-hours calls are welcome, whether you are organising a hire or need to speak to us about a machine already on hire.
We also do not work to a fixed standard depot return deadline. Delivery, return and collection times are agreed directly with you, with after-hours arrangements available where practical.
Need a different excavator size?
The U17-3 is our flagship all-rounder, but other machine sizes are available depending on your hire location and job requirements.
Northern Rivers & Tweed: the fleet also includes the 0.9T Kubota K008-3, 2.5T Kubota U25-3 and 5.5T Yanmar ViO55-6B.
Brisbane: for selected mid-term and longer-term hires, 0.9T and 2.5T excavators may also be available by arrangement. Contact Frank with your dates and job requirements.

Delivery is the usual option where practical
Delivery and collection are available for $150 within approximately 20 km where applicable. Longer-distance delivery can be quoted individually. When we deliver, Digger2Hire normally retains the plant trailer unless otherwise agreed beforehand.
Approved customer collection may be available by appointment from the collection point for your selected hire location. The required tow vehicle, towing capacity, electric brake controller and driver requirements depend on the confirmed machine and transport arrangement.
