Morningside collection by appointment
Morningside is Digger2Hire’s genuine Brisbane collection base. It is not a staffed walk-in depot, so collection must be arranged and approved beforehand.
Customer collection depends on the confirmed machine and trailer, a suitable tow vehicle and towing capacity, the required electric brake controller, a current full open driver licence and the agreed transport arrangement. We confirm those requirements before the booking is finalised.
Collection and return times are agreed directly with Frank. There is no fixed standard depot closing time and where practical, after-hours arrangements can be made.
Read the delivery and pickup requirements before planning to collect.
Delivery is usually the easier option
Delivery and collection are available for $150 within approximately 20 km where applicable, with longer distances quoted individually. Delivery is the usual option where practical because we can bring the machine and attachments to the job and normally retain the plant trailer during the hire unless otherwise agreed beforehand.
That also means you do not need to organise a suitable towing setup simply to use the excavator.
Inner-east Brisbane jobs and access
From the Morningside base, Digger2Hire can service practical jobs around nearby areas including Murarrie, Cannon Hill, Hawthorne, Bulimba, Balmoral, Norman Park, Seven Hills, Camp Hill and Coorparoo, subject to availability and delivery arrangements.
Established residential blocks can have narrow side access, tight turns, retaining walls, eaves, slopes and limited spoil areas. Measure the narrowest point of the complete route, not just the gate opening. Check turns, posts, walls, steps, overhead clearance and ground conditions before confirming the machine.
