Our 1.7T Kubota U17-3 is the lead Brisbane machine for residential excavation, landscaping, drainage, trenching, post holes and other jobs where compact access matters. It retracts to 990 mm wide and is supplied with three buckets, a ripper, Auger Torque X2000 with 300 mm and 450 mm augers plus a hydraulic rock grabber.

Brisbane blocks can have narrow side access, gates, retaining walls, sloping ground and established homes close to the work area. Measure the entire access route rather than just the gate opening. The U17-3 retracts to approximately 990 mm wide, but turns, posts, eaves, steps and ground conditions can still determine whether access is practical.

Brisbane excavator delivery and Morningside collection
Delivery and collection are available for $150 within approximately 20 km where applicable, with longer distances quoted individually. Delivery is the usual option where practical and we will confirm site access and timing when arranging the hire.
For delivered hires, Digger2Hire normally retains the plant trailer unless otherwise agreed beforehand. Approved customer collection from Morningside, Brisbane is available by appointment when the driver, tow vehicle, electric brake controller and confirmed transport arrangement meet the requirements.
Delivery, return and collection times are arranged directly with you rather than around a fixed standard depot closing time. Where practical, after-hours arrangements can be made.
